From Phyllis with Love!

because i had an appointment over at MBFC area today, we all scheduled to do lunch together over here and also sort of do an exchange of xmas presents.

well, actually most of the presents came from Phyllis! haha

after lunch, Lea showed us around to her enviable pantry...



YES! THAT'S A PANTRY!! how beautiful!










after work, Will picked me up from TPY and we headed over for dinner at 112. We couldnt decide on what to have but eventually decided on Charly T's...




and.... who is Charly T?








i ordered one of their specialty which apparently is some roast chicken of sorts. It came with 2 side dishes. I chose the warm potato salad...





it was decent although i didnt really like the vinegar they included.

macaroni and cheese...



there seemed to be some tabasco like flavour inside. i didnt quite like it, prefer the one from Kenny Rogers!

and the chicken...




the chicken was decent but not wow-ing.

Will had the chicken cordan bleu...










not my type because its breast meat. haha

after dinner, we made our way down to katong shopping centre for ktv. along the way, we dropped by WTF to get bubble tea and helped assisted them with 2 lost doggies...

the ktv was good too. i must say he really sings very well. we finished singing at about 1, kept chatting till almost 2 plus followed by a long walk over to Punggol nasi lemak to find it closed and ended up at Mcdonalds at my place instead.

Peperoni-ing Tonight!

today's lunch was at Ramen Play, weixian's favourite ramen!




zhiwei ordered the curry noodles...




crystal had the katsu....




weixian and myself had the sanpou ramen...



love their sanpou ramen. soup base was good, pork belly was good, pork cheeks were great, char siew was nice!

gave zhiwei my shades and he immediately turned into Cyclops!

after work, met up with Joelle for a quick 30 mins to catch up. We met up at marmalade pantry. She ordered a chicken caesar salad with avocado and it was EXTRAORDINARY!!





considering i don't like breast meat, i LOVE their chicken breast! i love the generous amount of cheese and avocado. Its super good!




Joelle drove me over to Outram to meet up with Saphy and her friends Velda and Cham. We were going for dinner tonight at Peperoni along Frankel ave. We also picked up Sharon on the way...




this place is one of those pizza places where they serve XXL pizzas!




those super big kinds where you would want to cam whore with it! but sadly, we can only choose 2 flavours and we wanted more so we decided on 2 L sized pizzas instead.

we shared a jug of iced lemon tea...




the cupcake i tabao-ed for them




cham and velda bumped into separate groups of friends so it was hello here and hello there...



meatballs!









the meatballs were not very nice. not juicy in fact a bit dry.

wings!




the wings were also not interesting.

but the pizzas were good!

the four cheese with the parma ham...




i love the four cheese! the bleu cheese was strong so its damn yummy! the parma ham was also great with arugula!

the pepperoni and the bacon...





both were really good too!

and although we didnt order the XXL pizzas, we still did cam whore!


















and i got pressies from Saphy from Japan!





it was a good time. Thank cute Sharon for introducing two nice new friends to me!

Mellben with the Seaweeds

i miss the seaweeds!

i miss the times when the seaweeds could hang out with the seafoodies. that the seafoodies do not need to rush off to the seaweeds.

and i miss the pioneer seaweeds who get along, who would play mj tog and we could all have a good time and i get to spend more time with my close group of girlfriends.

i miss leoie n smelly!


so we arranged to meet up and leoie came to pick up smelly and myself and the first thing i said was.. " Why did u all have to break up?? 好好在一起不是好??? "

and leoie's reply was hilarious! " ok mah.. now 2 of your seafoodies stay in condo leh " hahahhaa and he said.. " i already know what i said today will be captioned and quoted on ur blog "

muahahhahaa....

and leoie's car being a 2 door car packed with his 8 - 9 bowling balls and duno what bags behind was not the most cozy at the back...

initially, we ordered the prawn paste chicken and the crab bee hoon only. but as we ate, it started to pour so we shifted upstairs, got stranded and end up ordering more.

prawn paste chicken...



the prawn paste chicken didnt have the strong prawn paste taste. more like fried chicken wings.. so so only.

YUMMY!! as good as the amk one. i LOVE THE SOUP!!!

vegetables wise, we had the kang kong with cuttlefish...



it was good.

the salted egg prawns....



the salted egg prawn was pretty good. prawns were of a decent size.

as the rain got smaller, smelly suggested we visit his place and so we did. his place was relatively big and nicely decorated. very young couple vibes!

his doggie cookie is very into leoie and totally ignores me! *hurt*

leoie said this is a 900k view. people staying in this estate are all millionaires. hahahaha

initially we were served gek huay! but later smelly's sister served us moscato!!! such a moscato week! and the colour same same like gek huay!





leoie joked and said.. " i never drink gek huay in such an atas glass before .. take picture take picture " hahaha
