These days, I'm not the only busy one. Bunny is also getting really busy with work so I'm glad we managed to make time for our date night!
This month's scroll is as per below:
And it came along with a wild draw ....
In view of time and location, we decided to do it at Brawn and Brains!
Quiet little cafe at Guillemard where the old badminton association was...
Bunny said they are famous for their cold brew...
Which was indeed not bad! It's not overly sweet and not overly acidic. Just that if I were to compare to Old Hen, Old Hen's one is much better, stronger in flavour and a tad bit sweeter. But overall Brawn's one is far better than a lot of others.
We ordered the molten eggs to share and it was amazing!
The molten egg was topped with melted cheese, served with smoked salmon and avocado. It was a winning combo with rockets and very sweet cherry tomatoes on the side! We both loved it and will definitely be back again for this!
With the wild card where we took scores of the person who used the most "You" and "I", it was a hilarious session. Especially when it came to ordering, " what would you like? ", " I want a cold brew".
We end up speaking like we were a little retarded going really slow ... like... " order what? " and " cold brew more ice "

We end up speaking like we were a little retarded going really slow ... like... " order what? " and " cold brew more ice "
and most importantly, the polite " Thank YOU " hahahahaha
so did the session about the blue print of our dream house because we had to go like " i like it to be level one "... " i want a pool "... " i know you want this this this.. "
i started out tracking behind big time but very soon, bunny caught up with the "YOUs" and the "Is"
and completed our blue printed discussion...
after our 'date', we went on to a 'double date'. Meeting Ken and her friend King for dinner. Ken sort of wanted to give me a belated birthday treat and she chose Santa Fe Tex Mex Grill at Marina South Pier.....
the restaurant we at level 3 of the boat and it was a very interesting place to have dinner. The view was beautiful but not for those with motion sickness and a pity, bunny has it! haha
so dinner was a relatively quick affair.
King and Ken...
there was also live singing....
we ordered a truffle fries...
the skin was crispy and i like that the bottom part was not overly marinated, it was pretty good though not the best. But best for the night.
sausage platter...
sausage platter...
the salmon was also not bad.
requested for truffle mash potato that was part of one of their meat platter but was no part of the sides on the menu. they came like this...
i know from the angle it looks bit but its seriously miserably small. haha.. its like two and a half table spoon or less and they charged us $6. something that i probably can finish in 2 mouths..... :(
thank you very nice ken for the birthday treat!
