although i do still maintain my original thoughts that spending money on iphone covers or phone covers in general is a waste of money. i almost lost count on the number of covers i have and i didnt exactly change them coz they are spoilt. Not that they are very expensive. even this one is probably less than $10. but still, accumulatively, they cost a lot and is a waste of money. but everytime i see one thats oh-so-pretty or oh-so-cute, i cannnnnnot resist!
first day back to work after hong kong although im actually down with cough and sore throat. its typically not so nice to be on mc at the end of your leave... its like extending it.
amelia was so sweet, she made tiramisu for us!
and its really really yummy! not just being polite but its seriously GOOD!!
was planning to spend my upcoming weeks meeting only wendy to go swimming and not make any other plans to head out. need to also tighten my budget after my hong kong trip but this cough came along so got to shift the exercising plans a bit.
the dinner with shawn kept rescheduling because of our tight schedules before the trip and today he happened to ask and i happened to be free!
steamboat! shawn is almost like a steamboat kaki! and although he's been meaning to introduce me to the chong qing hot pot, im still craving for the crystal jade one!
today we had the pork bone and the sour and spicy soup...
and i like crystal jade's steamboat for the quailty of their beef and pig liver...
their food variety is what i like too. i dont usually eat prawns (for steamboat) so its fine with me that their steamboat dont include prawns.
the great world branch is much better than the others be it in terms of service or seats. they don't rush you or give you a stipulated timing. the seats are comfy sofa seats with big table. very comfortable meal!

dinner ended early and for some reasons we talked about drinking and got both of us into the drinking mood. we wanted to head down to pump room but the one at great world has already closed down so we headed *elsewhere*. not allowed to mention where coz shawn said its not high class enough. HAHAHAHAHAHA
a bucket of 6 bottles for only $48...
we had different brands....
i could only finish two bottles coz i was too full. and when they tell u that drinking beer cools u down and helps with the sore throat, they bluff u one! my sore throat got worse as we drank! when i got home, i even felt feverish!
