Catching up with our Cute Supports

its a wet rainy morning.

there i was, all dressed up, hair nicely styled carrying my bag, my laptop bag and my pretty Forever New pink brolly with cute lil white hearts on it along the road..... so it was a rainy day, perfect day to showcase my pretty brolly (i thought).

then.. right as i was walking to the bus stop, an oncoming car drove by so quickly, SPLASH!!!!!! I WAS DRENCHED!

FML!!!!!

and it didnt happen once, it happened 3x!

BOOO HOOO!! i need my license! I need a car! I need a driver!!

and after i finished work, crabby dropped me off at harbourfront mrt. decided not to take the bus coz its a freaking long ride especially during knock off hours so i decided it should be quite fast to take the train from harbourfront to dhoby ghaut (although i didnt know which line to take)... and from dhoby ghaut to orchard is just two stops.. seems ok...

so tra la la la i went... was about to take the purple line coz i rem that goes to punggol so thats probably the one until i saw this sign that says 'Circle Line - to dhoby ghaut'.

so i thot.. oh.. maybe i got it wrong, its probably the circle line thats the right one so i followed that sign, took the lift and quickly hopped onto the circle line.

Got seat summore! so happy!

den as i sat down and looked at the journey board (the one that states how many more stops before my dhoby ghaut).. i almost wanted to kill myself!!!

this freaking train goes all the way BACK to labador, to kent ridge, to pasir panjang, and den to holland v, bishan, even to PAYA LEBAR (i can go home already!!) before routing to dhoby ghaut!! how long will this journey take??

FML!!!

by that time it dawned on me, i was too tired to stand up change train BACK to harbourfront................ i felt the analysis running through my head.. should i go home? should i change train? i should just resign to fate and sit all the way through to dhoby haut? what time will i reach orchard lidat?? the only consolation was, I HAVE A SEAT!

so i decided to rest for a while and not think! after like 5 stops later (Why trains so slow?), i re-looked at the journey board and saw.. ooo.. bishan stop has a connecting red line! and serangoon stop has a connecting purple line! should i change there? will it be faster?

so yeah.. eventually i changed at the bishan stop and finally managed to make my way to meet janice, pei san and ching ching at orchard ion. they suggested having steamboat and they recommended this place Sho Teppan....



we ordered two pots to share. one was the ork, one was for the beef...











must say their meat is really fresh and yummy. the soup was not bad. we had the sweet soup, janice refused to let us try the shabu shabu soup coz she said its not nice. haha..















we had a good time catching up about the old days. That must really have been the happiest working days of my life (so far).

and while i was splashed and i took the wrong train, i wasnt that affected and my mood wasnt really spoilt. life goes on :)

and i simply refused to switch on that work laptop after work today.
