just finished watching wicked. i felt so much as i was watching the show. and in all honesty, i completely cannot remember the story for wizard of oz and had to do a bit of wiki reading before heading for the show.
oh yes, i must add that everytime i watch stage plays, i always think to myself, i can never act in such shows. not coz i cant sing or cant act (not that i'm good at it either).... but because of my phobia for stairs and escalators! hahahaha... they always seem to have scenes where these actors and actresses will be singing and walking down the steps WITHOUT even look and they make it look so effortless!
i love shows like these that tugs my emotions and provokes thoughts. (ok, i generally am someone who thinks A LOT as many of my friends say).
and watching wicked triggered a lot of thoughts (which because im post blogging, a lot of those strong emotions and thoughts that i want to pen down have all been blown away)
watched it with sabrina, lydia and esther!
thank u lydia for the super bling bling mobile accessory!
we went for supper at the geylang beef hor fun place...
there were 4 of us.. but because we were going to order frog leg porridge too, we decided to order just a 2 person portion and add beef. the server when taking orders actually mumbled our orders and asked if its 2 persons portion at $18!!
we were like WHAT?! we asked her how much is the 2 pax portion and she said $10! where got people add $8 worth of beef one?
i told her we're not carrot heads. we requested for a $12 portion...
which i believe even if we asked for the $18 portion, we will be served the same amount!
standards of their beef hor fun have greatly dropped. u cant even taste the beef taste anymore.
frog leg porridge from the opposite lane...
