Because Kendi made me spend money !

Both being a size 9 or even 10 for shoe size, we often update each other of places or designs that come in our shoe size. Marks and Spencer is one of our favourite and recently before CNY she bought this pair. She also kindly helped me reserve a pair in my size. And because of the no-buying-of-shoes-during-CNY thingy, I haven't been down to purchase till now.

In fact I have been debating whether to buy or not...

The MJ kakis take on JB

And so instead of sitting around the MJ table today, we grabbed our passports and headed to our JB adventure!

Totally enjoyable and we bumped into JB master - Ken when we went for massage!

Super happy that I managed to check off my KPI of lok lok, ah biao wanton Mee and the taman Sentosa crayfish!

Brunch with the Bees

Was telling little bee he is very honored to have me wake up early on a weekend. Particularly after having slept only at 6am in the morning. Haha

Busy is an understatement these days but I'm enjoying every minute of it! It's been very fruitful and rewarding. 

So yes, brunch with the bees!

I'm actually very glad I managed to pull myself out of bed to meet up with them - and also be able to pass them the long overdue Xmas gift!

Life, Challenges in Plus Size!

Life is not always easy, it always presents challenges. Just like how my perfect white ootd wall can be stained with that black mark yet can be resolved with a little photoshop if I want to. 

Just like the shoe I haven't wore for a long while can decide to disintegrate when I wear it yet there's the cobbler to the rescue.

Life is probably even tougher for a plus sized person, and I believe many fellow plus sized folks can relate. It can come even in the form of an innocent yet not so innocent kiddo. How we deal with it is important, how we deal with ourselves is even more so. Given the old me I might have ran home and cried myself silly, wondering about how to move on with life. But I'm glad I'm stronger now and I have wonderful bunny for that reassuring hug, regardless if she agrees with how I dealt with it.

By the way, to my Mj kakis, trying to win at Mj is a challenge too! And I'm glad u girls are with me on this journey!

No sugar coating

Ok, I don't know how to sugar coat this entry at all. I have been going through loads of internal struggles lately. Largely between speaking my mind - which seems to tend to offend people one way or another v.s. Not doing so and resulting in super bad mood in myself.

And that gets me super edgey coz I can't get over it internally myself. And u know I'm damn petty and damn cannot multi task well. And and and I can't stand it when I experience inefficiency. Yet I may dislike the me who speaks up and seems inconsiderate. :( 

So irritating! 

Anyway on a lighter note, ootd for today!

Perhaps not all love is lost. Met up with Xinying and her 3 precious little ones for high tea at Hyatt.

I was late (as usual, just trying to keep up to my reputation) and right when I arrived, charming ran up to me with this....

A very lovely pink rose (and branded one ok! My rose is from Dior)! 

And Lucas also hurried along to pass me another one (feel so loved!!!!!)

And accordingly to Xinying (my sweetest mother in law), they were at taka earlier and Marcus saw people giving out roses, he ran over and told the person " can I have one? I want to give to my princess "

Wah lau! Heart melt!!! 

And Lucas actually joined in to say " I want to get one for princess also!! " 

Double melt! 

Hilarious part is, mummy don't have! Hahahaha Xinying said " no wonder people typically have 婆媳问题！" hahahahahhahaa

yesterday i registered myself to AirBnB. They have many interesting lodgings both locally and overseas. I am sorry you cannot try it out till you learn to be a better person.

Yesterday, i shifted my bed again, back to the way where it takes up much more space. I hope this helps with the feng shui to enhance your social relationship with people around you. I see the relationship you are building with your pillow.

The good side of bunny's 2016 birthday

Being a working day, bunny's birthday celebration could only start at night. Dinner was amazing at Mortons!

The server managed to serve her gift I brought over yesterday as a surprise!

Dinner was really good. Mortons gave us a good meal and a good time!

After dinner was supposed to be massage but things took a twist and all.

All I can say is, I'm glad we're still together.

Happy birthday bunny!

Seafoodies all grown up

Past readers of juneoesque must remember the seafoodies. They were a core part along with the development of Juneoesque.

Today we met up for Crabby's birthday. Well super belated and kind of celebration. No cake, no dinner and no full attendance. But still was great wholesome conversations.

How things have changed and how time flies. All of them are married and we have one mother.

It started out as a surprise celebration for Bunny and found out that Bel's birthday was also round the corner so we decided to do a small surprise for both of them at Rice & Fries!

Hunny Bunny Valentines 2016

For our February date, according to the scroll I drew from the date box that bunny prepared for Xmas, I drew this:

So I told her, let's do a valentines theme for Valentine's Day! And the location for dinner was Valentino! 

And yes, we have a hunny bunny list of places we want to dine at!

From one olive! Their flowers are always beautiful and bunny is now known in their shop as the person who always ask for brown paper.

Even the food was filled with love!

I actually ask her not to prepare gifts or waste money on flowers this year. I told her to make me a flower using $$$. And she really did!

The end of an era

When asked, " so when are we going on our date?"

Charming replied "oh u mean an actual date? I'm too young to be on a date" 

This effectively means, my little charming is 长大了！

I have officially been transferred from Princess to Aunty. Hahahaha

Dear tummy,

Don't play Liao la. I know u meant well, didn't want me to eat too much during the festive period so u played the bloated card on CNY eve followed by diarrhea then a combi of both. Today I thought u were fine Liao! Even brought u to go watch movie with mummy but u anyhow anyhow again! Mai play Liao ok? 

Mummy's day out

Guilty as charged. I don't spend enough time with my mum. So today is mummy's day out!

We headed for massage, followed by movie, dinner and shopping! 

Caught Jack Neo's Long Long Time Ago and the moment the movie started, mummy was luffing till ka ka Chio! Seeing her luff like that brings me much joy.

I must say I can understand why, she clearly can relate to a lot of things in the movie, like how childbirth used to be like in KK hospital or how there used to be 霸王车。she would occasionally turn her head to update me how ya that's what happened in the past etc etc.

Also, credits to Jack Neo. Movie after movie, he has proven to produce really heart warming and heart tugging movies that's close to the heart of Singaporeans. I don't get why some people will say his movies aren't worth watching or aren't worth watching in the cinemas. I mean yes I know the dvd is released soon after the screening but shouldn't we be supporting such good productions or storylines? Especially it's about contents so close to our hearts. I don't think a famous foreign director can produce something as local as Jack Neo can. So far, from 小孩不笨 to ah boys to men (ok I didn't super like the lion dance show) to this movie, I think they were all very well done. I am looking forward to part 2!

Experienced a wardrobe emergency, the Cheong Sam I had planned to wear turned out to be too short - not sure why I totally didn't detect it when I tried it on.

So luckily I managed to pull out this white dress. And thinking I didn't have matching new shoes and bag to match it, I did!
