Today can't be a good day

One colleague's in laws met an accident and are in ICU. That news kick started the day.

Work is crazy busy, being the first day back after my leave.

Another colleague's child got hospitalized.

2 friends' dad passed on as I went through my fb newsfeed.

A parent of a kid from Vsa where I used to volunteer also passed on as I got to know through the group chat I was still in.

I almost got into an accident when my Uber driver drove up a curb.

The seafood stall I specially went down to eat at Newton is closed and the others around were expensive and food was mediocre.

I worked late but found myself caught up in absurd situations.

I had a bed I couldn't return to.

Breakfast with Love

The past weekend has been crazy, from one night of OT, we extended to two nights and bunny was just waiting and waiting for me to be done, she couldn't even have proper sleep coz I wasn't doing work at home. We eventually only managed to get to bed at 4am! 

After some short hours of sleep, she had to head to work but she had to drag me up too to join her for breakfast. I totally resented the idea but in view that I caused her to lose sleep the night before, I dragged myself out of bed too.

It proved to be a good decision coz we finally managed to actually spend some time together. 

And thank you bunny for your understanding! Looking forward to a lifetime of breakfasts together!
