i did however go for a hair wash. very cheap! thats why ah yee said, if we live here, i think we can afford to have people bath for us, wash our hair, do our nails like almost everyday!
did a little facetime with meina at the salon!
she was sharing her loot from usa! we arranged to meet up around 4pm in hong kong!
headed to the ferry terminal with ah yee for our brunch! decided to go for the Kung Fu fast food!
we had a deluxe set for 2 at RMB$58!

we checked into East Hotel, arranged by the company... see, the doors dont look like they are doors!
East Hotel is fabulous! its got a contemporary design, spacious and nice rooms. wifi in rooms and wonderful service. very polite and courteous staffs. i actually fell sick the next couple of days and we enquired about clinics and they actually called me the next day to ask me how i am feeling. such personalised service. THUMBS UP!
they even have free ipod with games installed!
after we placed our luggages, we quickly headed over to Central to meet up with Meina, Sasa and Aloy!

we were estatic! Meina and i have been talking about arranging to meet up in hk for this trip for the longest time. our conversations usually takes place on watsapp at wee hours just before we fall asleep but we always end up without a conclusion coz we would be either too sleepy or we dont have any confirmations particularly coz mine is a work trip. everything must wait for ah gong to confirm. haha
so we were really happy we managed to really meet up! like we said, take some pics also good!
we headed over to a random cha chan ting to sit down for drinks. they were so nice, they bought me smelly beancurd!!
and meina got me a coach from usa! meina is a generous friend!
we saw fiona xie at the cha chan ting!
we had a good time chit chatting, catching up and gossiping. haha.. it was lots of fun!
when it was time, we headed over to their hotel.. meina was joking to say that the hotel person must think that aloy very eh sai. first he started off with sharing a room with 2 girls. now he brings another 2 girls over! haha
after they left for the airport, ah yee and i did a quick dinner at Tsim Chai Kee....

i read about it on Lionel's blog. about it being more popular than locals than the usual Mak Kee i go to. About the huge wanton. ah yee also said she tried it on her last trip so we went!

it was not bad. the noodles were really thin and Q. the wanton was huge and not bad. the beef was soft though didnt have much beef taste. but in terms of soup i think i personally prefer Mak Kee's.
i kay kiang, i went into milan station and i found that LV marine mini lin i have been searching for. it was 10000 hkd. i was totally unsure if i should buy it. its totally not available internationally anymore but i was not prepared to spend up to 1.7k sgd for this trip. i was in a total dilemmia. (but thank god, i subsequently recevied sponsorship and yay! i bought the bag the next day!)
we headed over to do our hair! i had a trim and touch up of colours. Eric curled my hair a little too much and made me look old. there goes my initial idea of not having to rewash my hair for work tomorrow. work is 845 am tml (nightmare!). this means i need to wake up earlier to wash and dry and style my hair (or do it later tonight). its not easy being a woman!
after our hair got done, becky texted to say they are at Yung Kee so we went to join them...
decided to go for drinks together at Lan Kwai Fung....
we left after about a drink. bought these at the 7-11 near my hotel...
they cheese one is pretty good! meina gave me a pack of abalone one earlier also. thats also really good! taste like chicken biscuit!
i proceeded to wash, dry and style my hair with leon, becky and terence knocking at my door many times! haha.. the silly trio wanted to smoke n drink.. no way am i letting my newly washed hair get the smokey smell! haha..
