HK 2012 with Ah Yee - Day 4 (盛八!)

second day of training! didn't feel like day 2.

when training started to get a little dry, trainer gave us an activity! each team was to make a boat and a fan using the paper supplied and at the end of it all, to race the boats and see which team's one will come in the fastest!

yun ki and becky doing up their team's boat/fan..

stanley from my team...

terence from my team.. he's in charge of making the boat!

we concluded the boat needs to be small so he made a very small one!

leon was engrossed in wanting to design the boat! he googled to look for dragon boat designs....

testing out our boat and fan....

and competition began!

our team won!

hur hur!

the morale of this competition was actually to tell us that when the trainer says boat and fan, everyone assumes the shape of the boat when actually the boat can be anything. it is what we call it to be. ie. it can be a crushed piece of paper that is light enough to be fanned fast.

DO NOT ASSUME. LISTEN TO WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS.

haha..

after training today, our next dinner venue is Morihachi Yakiniku 盛八 (Hong Kong).

this is while we were at our hotel lobby waiting for everyone to be ready and terence and leon came up with a challenge for each other via scissors, paper and stone method. to pose in front of this big glass window.

Leon lost!

it was hilarious today. we invited Lisa from the taiwan team to join us coz we realised she has been doing her dinners alone. i was in becky's room waiting for becky earlier and she was doing her business in the toilet. i was going to call Lisa to inform her to meet at the lobby in ten mins but wasnt sure of her room number.

i called the operator and told her Lisa's name and surname but they didnt seem able to check. in our group watsapp, Eugene suddenly said its 2406 but the operator said 2406 isnt a lady. Becky shouted from the toilet to say its either 2405 - 2408. i told the operator so she was checking.. becky subsequently told me: " why not we try ourselves? " which i told the operator but operator immediately flustered and told me.. " err, its better not to disturb our other guests " and she told me she found a match but she can't tell me her room number. so i got connected to lisa and i asked lisa what is her actual room number and she told me its " 2417 ".  so back in the watsapp group, i told them lisa's room number is 2417 and i said its confirmed by the operator and lisa herself. Philip den suddenly replied and said.. " strange .. den who is the person i spoke to on the phone just now? i told her meet 6pm at the lobby and she said ok! "

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

we told philip maybe later at 6pm he can find a new friend!

anyways, in the end we realised Lisa's room number is not 2417.. lisa accidentally told us a wrong number and it was lisa that philip spoke to. hilarious!

ah yee didn't join us for dinner as she was having ulcer and she didnt want BBQ to aggreviate it.

Lisa and becky accompanied me over to Central to grab my LV. happy!

3/F, 38 Plaza, 38 Shan Tung Street, Mong Kok

everyone was excited about the plates and plates of beef. wagyu etc...

ox tongue!

chicken..

salad...

pork collar...

YUMMY!!!

their beef is really GOOD! everyone thoroughly enjoyed the beef!

and the foie gras chawanmushi!!

what a huge piece of foie gras! the chawanmushi itself did not have much of foie gras taste. cant help but compare it to dozo's. dozo's one the chawanmushi actually has the foie gras taste but u can barely see the foie gras. cant decide which one i prefer. if only they'd combine! haha

hot sake...

plum wine...

cheers to day 2 of training!

halfway through the meal, i felt a bad tummy (most prob not because of this meal itself). i thought it would go off after awhile but it got worse.

after the meal, i brought them over to ladies street for shopping. after a little while, my tummy cramps got much worse so i decided to head back to the hotel first.

the night was bad. the cramps got very bad! i was lucky to have ah yee with me and becky was super nice. she kept checking on me, passed me her medicine and also helpd me check with the operator about doctors. they apparently have in house doctors that cost $4000 hkd!!

i did not take up the offer.. i was totally rolling in bed from time to time when the cramps happened.
